Inspiration and Motivation in the Face of Adversity with Keith D. Guernsey

You have faced some incredibly daunting obstacles in your life (from cancer to brain surgery). What has helped you stay positive, strong, and optimistic through such adversity?
My lovely wife Susan.

Do you have a specific mindset you like to adopt to keep yourself inspired and motivated even when going through difficult times?
Be positive; stay positive! Make today my best day ever!

Did any of the skills you picked up throughout your challenges in life, help you with tackling the major undertaking of writing your own book?
Yes! Be persistent and consistent!

What kind of message do you hope to share with your book, “Overcoming the Odds: This is my story of triumphs over cancer, life-threatening brain surgery – twice and obesity!”?
That you can overcome life’s bumps in the road!

What inspired you to start capturing your own personal experiences through writing?
To leave a legacy for my grandsons Harry and Beau!

Has writing helped you stay motivated, or is it more the product of your motivation?
It is a product of my motivation to inspire my readers

For those who are feeling unmotivated (be it in life or their writing journey), what advice would you offer to them?
Everyone has a story to tell. If you are having trouble telling yours, please email me at; thegurns2005@yahoo.com
