Welcome to 7 Billion Words a new book review run by me!
Thank you for joining me on this adventure! I’m a high-schooler from North America sharing my love of books and the world with you.
Work on this site began back in March of 2020, but the idea has been rolling around in my mind since my freshman year of high school. There have been a lot of steps between there and here but finally after months of design and editing (and then some more editing), 7 Billion Words was ready to launch! Finally, on June 30, 2020, this site went live.
7 Billion Words was born!
I am actually not a new blogger, but I am a severely out of practice one. Back in elementary school, I actually ran a review site called WubWub Book Reviews. (Yes, it was as bad as it sounds.) I think I had a total of about two whole reviews on the site and also some pictures of a pine tree that I named Steve Cheese. I wish that was a joke but it isn’t. Anyway, some time has passed since my WubWub days and thank goodness for that. I have decided to try this whole thing again.
To start, 7 Billion Words has some reviews and posts. But, please bear with me and give me time to really get this site up and running for there are great things ahead.
I am currently a Junior in high school (at the time of writing this) attending my local high school in the United States. I would like to one day be an author and currently plan to minor in creative writing when I attend college. I am a huge lover of books and reading and everything in between. I wanted a way to spread this love and combine some other passions of mine: writing, photography, travel, and community service (no, I’m not joking). So, 7 Billion Words was created!
7 Billion Words is first and foremost a book review site. We offer reviews in a variety of categories, genres, and topics with the goal of providing helpful information to the largest possible audience. Here, you will also find additional content, book recommendations, and helpful search and sorting tools to help you find your next great read.
